Settlement visa. How many photos is too many?

Obviously i will be providing lots of photos as supporting evidence of my relationship with my wife. Holidays in the UK and Thailand, our wedding, lots of family and friends stuff etc
I just don't want to get carried away and send them 100 photos !!

What was your experience? Can i photocopy multiples on A4 or should i send originals? Do they except memory sticks? DVDs?

I put about 6 to 8 on an A4 sheet and had about 4 sheets..I had the date imprinted on each photo and the location on some of them.. I included some of wife in my house when she was on a visit visa and used those in the accomodation section of the visa application..

I keep hearing that they don't encourage photos at all nowadays but I did pretty much the same as tudorowen. 6-8 to an A4 sheet printed on a laser printer and made sure there were quite a few on us with both our families. Places and locations added in Photoshop.

On our first visit visa I went absolutely crazy and sent two books full. It is what I do for a living and my wife is the selfie queen.

i sent about 12 normal photos on misses visit visa and settlement but just got her photos from max they asked me if i wanted them on usb,,,, what ,,,i just got hard copies as im old school

Unless things have changed they don't accept anything digitally.

You're right, rasg.

UKVI will not accept digital media such as USB drives or DVDs. Everything has to be submitted as hard copies.

It is a shame and I hope that things will change as VFS are now scanning the info for settlement visas and sending to Sheffield. It would be a big change for UKVI if they did but it wouldn’t change the need for a trip to the Trendy building for biometrics etc.

I don't think you need many for a settlment visa. The fact you have a marriage certificate, together with your other evidence should be enough to convince them your marriage is genuine. All I would say with any photographic evidence is that it should clearly be from different trips at different times.

I sent quite a lot of original photos. (Probably about 150) I know that sound a lot but our visit visa got refused and one of the pouts was not a lot of photos provided so I went crazy.

I sent a USB stick with all our What’s App chats on it.

I’m not sure if they used it or looked at it but it was the only evidence we sent for day to day communication so who knows

For a settlement visa application, 1 is too many.

In a VV application you are trying to prove a relationship, you've already done that by getting married.

usb they do accept now ,due to being able to fill your application in online or the misses so i was told at the photo shop still went old skool thore
