FLR M Photocopies?

I am just about to post off my wife's first FLR(M) application. We have all the paperwork etc, but just want to know if we need to include photocopies.

I remember the original application we made from overseas needed everything photocopied. However, there is nothing indicating it here this time. Please can someone advise if they are required or not.

I feel it would be a good idea to photocopy everything just in case the UKBA lose any documents and turn down the FLRm because of their mistakes, or in case they fail to return any important original documents.

Very much this... They lost a load of our stuff, never got it back.
