  • Research participants needed for the Getting Married in Thailand service

    Hi everyone,

My name is Roshni and I am conducting research on behalf of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

The FCDO is looking at the services we provide to British people abroad. In particular, we’d like to learn from people who have recently used the Getting Married in Thailand service.

If you have used the Getting Married in Thailand service, we would like to invite you to take part in the research we have planned. Your feedback will help us understand what worked well and where there are problems in the service to improve it for individuals like yourself.

The research itself would take no more than 45 minutes of your time and would be done remotely, for instance through a Zoom call.

To ensure that you’re comfortable sharing your feedback, whatever you say will be anonymised before being shared with the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office.

If you’re interested in taking part, please reply to this post letting us know any dates that are suitable for you.

    Thanks very much!

Is this advertised on the website with links to participate? and the Getting Married in Thailand is referring to the advice that revolves around which paperwork we needed to bring to the Embassy, Affirmations, passport confirmation etc. etc. Basically everything we needed to be issued with to take to the MFA.

Well I googled and found nothing, until I also typed FCDO in the search.

If you're offended by any assistance I give, it says far more about you than it does me.
