  • Modelling in Thailand

Ok so I am currently in thailand on a triple entry tourist visa with work not permitted. Ive been here just over a month and i have been asked a few times to do some modelling and i'm starting to consider it. I just need to know what i need...

i read somewhere that modelling isnt considered work in many countries but i find this hard to believe so if i do need a work permit then how do i get one? Or do i need to apply for a different visa type?

    thanks in advance,
    Apple.

Officially any kind of work, paid or voluntary requires a work permit

I'm no expert but I believe a work permit is linked to a specific job and so would have to be applied for I guess by, or with the help of the modelling agency. For example if you already had a work permit granted for a specific employer, then you left that job, you would no longer be eligible to work. You certainly are not entitled to work on a tourist visa anyway
