          hi Guys
just returned from Embassy in queens gate London after setting off at 07:30. had to registrar the kids for their Thai birth certificate and Passports.had some great help from the counter assistant in this although we had made the two appointments.when we arrived we were 10 mins late for the first appointment how ever in the organised chaos i soon soon discovered it was no problem.
for Kawita my wife had already completed the forms downloaded last night and put a little bundle together.
for jack his mum (my ex wife) had assistance from her friends so when i stood there with 2 children and 2 women it confused the counter assistant when both applications were put in front of her with my details accompanying both, the only sticky point was when i handed over the copies of the divorce papers and although i had the residence orders with me she did not want them and gave them back ( later i was told that she was going to assume jack resided with his birth mum) although the assistant gave me another form to sign saying that i would accompany him on future renewals until he was 20 yrs old and that he would carry my family surname. so £33:00 pound each (£25:00 for passport and £8:00 postage) and much later we were on our way back home process time about 6 weeks. so as of today Kawita says she is a proper Thai girl and not half half.

Did the same on December 16th. Still waiting, wife rang up last week and with all the turmoil 'back home' the Embassy said they had a backlog of 10,000 passports.
