  • Spain shengen woes

Im desperately trying to get a shengen visa to spain from the uk for my Thai wife, there are no appointments at all on the bps booking site that the embassy directs you too. We were planning on going in October but that now looks impossible. Anybody have any tips?

You best bet will be to use an agent. They usually have access to Fast Track.

Traveling to Spain? You might need an Spain visa. Determine if you need a visa for Spain, view Spain visa requirements and apply online for an India tourist visa or Spain business visa in minutes.
If you're offended by any assistance I give, it says far more about you than it does me.

That site doesn’t work for Thai passport holders

We gave up on a European holiday. The Greek Embassy in London was booked for months ahead and non responsive. It was easier to holiday back in Thailand. Net year we will go to Turkey as no visa required for either of us (I hope)

Ah, I saw your thread and wondered how you got on, we’re giving up for now and will try in a month or two.

We gave up on Europe, going to Thailand in October, much easier to do this. Two visits to London to get a Visa to a European country and waiting months for an appointment is a bit too much I think. My understanding is that if you book in advance and have the financial proof and hotel stuff covered you are pretty well sure to get Visas but too much for us. Next year Turkey or North Cyprus without a Visa sounds like a much better prospect.

Probably a smart choice, unfortunately I have to get to Spain to see sick parents before it’s too late. Im hoping things will improve once high season has ended, Christmas j in n Malaga isn’t a bad choice, rnjoy Thailand 👍
