Spanish family residency

My Thai wife is in the UK on her first settlement visa. My family live in Spain and have applied for family residency (theyre British but have lived in Spain for 10 years).

When I have Spanish residency (family residency) will my Thai wife still need a shengen visa

If she qualifies and takes up residency then she would not require a schengen visa but otherwise Keith is correct
