Application for becoming a British citizen

Hello,
I am 19 years old and currently in the process of applying for naturalisation. Question 1.24-1.31 on the form asks for information regarding my parents, however I have had no contact with my father since I was born. My mum married my step-father when I was 4 years old, and I have lived here for 13 years. I was wondering whether I need to put the information regarding my father as I do not know him, I have his name on my birth certificate but I do not know the other information such as his date of birth and the town/country that he was born in. Do I need evidence to prove that my mum has been my main carer for me since birth, if yes, what type of evidence?

I am guessing you can add his name and put DOB unknown , did your step father adopt you ? if so he would be your father.
