British Citizenship Processing time and new biometric card
You should get a letter from the council you nominated on your application form. It will ask you to contact a number to arrange a ceremony.
Just have to be patient a bit longer PP.

In special circumstances you can arrange a private ceremony. You should discuss your requirements with your local authority. You may have to pay an additional fee to arrange a private ceremony and it will not usually be attended by a dignitary.
Nick if you search other forums it normally takes 4 - 5 weeks after the money has been taken.
UKBA give a guide of up to 6 months.
You could go back to the NCS as there is some after care with them and this should give you a indication if it has been done. The NCS have a direct number.
I would still get my MP on board as to say the phone number they say call just sends you around in circles and you cannot speak to anyone. It is upto you which course of action to take but it's better than doing nothing and waiting, you never know the UKBA. Could have made a mistake somewhere.
The wife's and step-sons citizenship application has been approved. That's 9 weeks since the money was taken. Thanks to everyone here that has gave assistance and made it possible.
