They are also soft and cuddly and keep the mossies down
It's no longer a question of staying healthy. It's a question of finding a sickness you like.

...but I have, albeit in Phnom Penh some years ago when I was working on a project with a local NGO there. Savoury, crispy and crunchy, and there are no arguments as everyone gets a leg! Yummy!

There are lots of these places around Isan nowadays. One of the things I miss most about the place is the various coffee shops I found. They were often out the way, and sitting down with a book, headphones and watching the world go by.
One of my favourite times of year was the rainy season when I would get to my local and watch and listen to it hurtling down.

                        • I think they signed a contract to hold it for a minimum of 3 years:
This week in Issan the Kuy (Sui, Kui, Suay, umpteen names for the same group, mainly famous for association with Elephants) and Khmers will have ceremony's and give offerings to the Ancestors, all sorts of offerings and goodies available from local venders and in the local market... Mrs was at a ceremony the other day... Im picking Mother-in-Law up on Monday shes been in Seoul for a few months and she will conduct a family ceremony upon return, I think this weekend is for the main ceremonies. I asked Mrs about younger people speaking Kuy she says the younger generation tend to speak Central Thai with the older generation speaking Thai, Kuy or Khmer (in this area) to each other, sad to hear a ancient language may disappear.

I designated photo taking to Mrs as she always says my pictures are worse than a child's, plus I could nt be bothered, when I questioned later why is there no photos of the bikes she made the excuse they were too fast
But she did take a couple of Videos ...
