Magic. There's a thread on another forum regarding the same subject. Not one thing has changed in the 15 years the pictures have kept coming. Great place.

Could someone please explain the significance of the pigs head? I'm not familiar with this. Buddha was probably a vegetarian or very close to being one.

Getting there, we will get more wood to finish the room off eventually, but he is more than happy with it and likes the height

Sisaket's photo's from the Yasothon area have convinced me its about time I went back there again. I haven't been for 11 years and apparently my Thai 'Mum and Dad' have been asking about me.

I'm over in Thailand for 5 weeks shortly and although I have a hell of a lot of work to get done at my house, I feel a motorbike trip coming on . Just have to hope I can a). Make the time and b). Hope it will be late enough into the season for the rains to hold off. Still, dying to 'road test' my new Titanium hip on the bike - I've only ridden it with my extremely painful natural hip so far and that was a relatively short trip (1 hour) up to Korat to re-register it. Very enjoyable nevertheless except the getting on and off bit .

Had two nightmare drives in the last 2/3 weeks, going to Issan via Saraburi and Korat snails pace through both and again on the way back due to Mothers Day Bank Holiday IE people going back to BKK plus the construction, would have gone via Sa Kaeo/Chachoengsao but for the other half wanting to go to Robinson @ Saraburi (some type of French face cream )
Going back next week hopefully not via Saraburi/Korat, possibly via Chachoengsao/Prachin Buri

You know very well that nothing else has the same properties as that which can only be obtained at Robinson's Saraburi. None of the other stores stock it of course (she hasn't checked but you know you can't say that ) and even if they did, it will be different from them even if its in the same jar .

When my ex worked in Borwin we would often go up the 331 then up to Prachinburi and through Khao Yai national park if we were going home or from the 331 on to the 304 if we were going on to Buriram. However, the road was often bad and if going through the park I knew I'd have another fight about the 400 baht entry fee. I soon learned that the long way around - Highways 7,9,1 and 2 were actually a faster way. But on public holidays - I think I'd give them a go again after once taking 9.5 hours to get from Suvarnabhumi to Khao Yai on NYE using the highways.

Construction? Are you talking about Highway 2? I'm wondering if I still have a garden (555) - it goes awfully close to my house. I haven't been since March - anything could have happened.

She got some of the face cream on the way at a big discount then tried it out and apparently it's the best ever, so wanted to call in whilst the discount is still in force but unfortunately the sale period was over, just prior to her nodding off tonight she's still going on about wont get a discount like that anywhere in BMA
                                I used Highways 9 > 1 > 2 > 24 with the problems on 1 and 2 various crashes and construction (both ways)
On the way back we shared the driving with the Co-Pilot / Chief Navigator / All Round Driving Adviser taking control from Surin Province to Buriram City then me driving to BKK... with the bank holiday traffic etc just going at snails pace I was feed up of just using the low gears, at least my left leg got a Clutch work out.
