Thought I would post some pics of the one bedroomed extension we are building for my wife's son and wife. We are building the extension before the house !

Trying to upload more but don't have enough allowance apparently. Yes extension first is unusual but we rapidly realized that if we built the main house first it would become the main home for others, so we gave them the extension instead ! Smart move by my wife in the UK and her Aunt in Isaan who is supervising the whole job. We are building the 2 bedded at the end of next year as our home in the village. Lucky for us her father had a lot of land that he claimed many years ago as a farmer. He had a100 rai at one point but the government took back half of that but the rest he shared amongst his kids and siblings. What a hero

Mrs is doing the same in Surin for her sister in Rep of Korea, there's been a lot of Teak involved with associated permissions / paper trails etc
She has just been to the hospital with a labourer who managed to chop off a top portion of a finger and break two others in a wood cutting incident.

No injuries yet with my wife's house but sometimes it looks a bit scary when you see a lot of them working in confined areas !

nickj1000 sounds like a good plan and yeah it is a bit worrying when they are working in flip flops and soft hats, especially at heights

A bit belated...but we had a good New Years Eve at the Coffee Shop, we had about 25 to 30 people come round.

nickj1000 you should be able to upload pictures by
1. Clicking on this icon above image.png
2. Select the "Upload" tab at the top
3. Click "Choose file"

4. Find the picture on your PC.
5. Click "Send to it to the server"
6. Click OK
Hopefully this loads your picture.

I have just seen a response to my query on this problem and it is not your PC. It seems some settings need adjusting but unfortunately we are short of a computer guru at the moment that can fix this right away.
It has been flagged and hopefully can get it fixed as soon as we can.

nickj1000 Thanks, we had a great night. It's doing good, it pays for it's self and a salary, that's all I am bothered about. I want it more for give us a reason to get out of bed on a morning
We have a steady customer base and we get quite a few students/teachers from the secondary school opposite buying.

I use Imgur for my photos. Its free and you can hide the uploads so you can just put on forums and the general populus cannot make stupid comments on them.
