Hi everyone
My wife took her citizenship test at the Sheffield centre on Thursday 8th Feb. Unfortunatley she failed by two questions. The people there were lovely. We arrived extremely early and talked to the people there for approximatley one hour. Everything seemed above board to me and only one person out of four passed. Bad news for us is that we were booked back in this coming Monday. However, they have closed the test center

Hi there
No my wife got 8 questions wrong in total 2 above the six. If you get six wrong you still get 75 percent. Sorry I was not very clear. However, it makes no difference now as I have just phoned the national enquiry line for the Life in the UK test and they have just told me that it is very likely anyone who has taken the test at Sheffield and passed, since the centre opened, will probabley be contacted and told that they have to re take the test again free of charge. The women told me this is approximatley 4,500 people.
My enquiry was in relation to those who have failed for my wife was sure that she had answered the questions correct within the areas they said she had failed.
I feel very sad for those who have passed legally and now have to resit.
Kind regards
Andy
