    MerseyMike, I was told originally when Nok started taking the courses at Solihull college that a "speaking & listening" certificate would be acceptable so was fairly confident on that score.

    Noticed from your later post that you have actually checked the rules and confirmed this yourself, you learn something new everyday thanks for posting that anyway as it reassures us.

    Posted application of on Monday and have just got home to a letter from UK Border Agency to say they have received it and it has been passed to a casework unit and will be allocated to a caseworker soon.

    Fingers crossed now
