Link, I don't think you need to keep worrying about people encouraging their wives or partners to wing the test, or not putting in the effort needed to pass the test.

I think it goes without saying anyone approaching the test with such an attitude is doomed to failure, and quite rightly so in my opinion.

The negativity probably stems from the subject matter being tested, and whether it is useful or relevant to anyone looking to integrate into the British society.

My wife's not stupid and even she knows learning about things like famous battles or inventions wont benefit her in any way, shape or form.
