Instructing Netscape to display Thai Fonts:

    These instructions apply to Netscape 6, instructions may vary for other versions.

     

  1. Open Netscape.
  2. Click Edit then Preferences.
  3. The Preferences window will then appear.
  4. Under the Appearance section, click Fonts.
  5. The window should then look similar to this:

  7. Select Fonts for: Thai then choose the fonts you wish to have displayed
  8. Click OK

 

    You should only need to carry out the above procedure once. Thereonafter Netscape is fully capable of displaying Thai fonts. You may occasionally need to carry out the following to force Netscape to display the fonts correctly:

     

  1. Whenever you view a web page containing Thai fonts but cannot see the Thai characters, click View, then Character Coding:

  3. Select Thai, the page will then refresh and you should be able to see Thai characters correctly.
